Artists in Japan

I was happy to learn that Yuko Uemura of PataPri, a printmaker based out of Japan, and her family are doing well. Like everyone else, I'm sure, I have been watching the devastation on tv with a sick, helpless feeling.

But here's one small thing I can do: I can pass along Yuko Uemura's Etsy shop and blog. She is very generously donating $5 for every towel sold at her shop.

  1. hi donna,
thank you so much for writing about this on your blog!
things are pretty bad in northern part of japan, earthquake, tsunami and now nuke plants...
i hope we will get through this.
    thank you!

  2. Hi Yuko,
I'm so glad that you and your family are okay. I have admired your work for a long time.

I hope that Japan is able to heal quickly from all of its recent trauma and that the radiation is contained.
